Function as a key member of the Network Intelligence Center responsible
for the design, architecture, implementation, and support of our
existing and next generation NMS architecture encompassing end-to-end monitoring and management of applications, networks, systems, and
services. While supporting the existing environment there will be an
emphasis on strategy and creativity for developing a next generation
operations management framework with a focus on proactive resolution,
automation, reporting, notification, system integration, and NOC
resolution capabilities.
Responsibilities:

Participate in the design, development, maintenance, and support of
network management systems and tools including: Micromuse Netcool, Open

Nervecenter, Micromuse Impact, NetQOS, and associated in-house developed
applications.

Participate in the specification, recommendation, deployment, and
enhancement of next generation NMS technology and applications.
- Participate in on-call emergency support of production systems and
applications within the Network Intelligence Center environment.

Provide technical support to operations and NOC staff.

Participate in the maintenance of Network Intelligence Center
applications, systems and tools.

Train staff on the use of NMS Systems and Tools within the Network
Intelligence Center department.

Requirements Required
- 7+ years experience in the development and operation of Network
Management systems and technologies.

5+ years experience with Micromuse Netcool/Omnibus, Impact, and ISMs.

5+ years experience with Open Nervecenter or equivalent SNMP polling
and correlation technologies.
- 5+ years experience with NetQOS or equivalent performance and capacity

Job Description: This position will be migrating custom scripts, installing and configuring off the shelf software, and testing the results of these activities to ensure continued and improved
functionality.
Responsibilities:
*Provide application administration and support for their Network Management tools such as CA Spectrum, NetCool, NerveCenter, Element Mgmt Systems, and other telecom tools.
* He / she will manage and install application upgrades and patches as well as do Shell and Perl scripting, configuration changes, and SQL development as needed.
* Investigate and report application business and system problems and analyze and track the progress and resolutions.
* Will need to apply standard IT principles, concepts, practices, and techniques.
* Supporting other environments for user acceptance and regression testing.
**Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with Netcool.

Job Description:
System Administration will support our client in the administration of the IBM Tivoli tool suite, to include maintenance, updates, rule definition, testing and upgrades. Netcool/APM allows network devices to connect and be monitored by a NOCC. This position with create rules, redefine rules, in order to set up alarms as well as allowing for translation from trip language to understandable English and a readable dash board interface. They will work with the NW device SME to test out the alarms to insure the rules are tripped according to the correct settings.

As a system management engineer you will be required to set-up design discussions and meetings, facilitate and coordinate high profile projects that are both internal to the team and across various departments and ensure delivery to completion.
